Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient medicine modality that has been used for 3,500+ years in East Asia to treat many different pain and internal conditions.

Acupuncture involves the use of sterile, one-time-use needles, as thin as a hair, which are inserted into superficial skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles to regulate energetic pathways known fascia pathways or “meridians” in the body.

Think of the body as having many rivers of energy; when there is pain, the river is “blocked up”. When the rivers are flowing freely, there is no pain. Acupuncture can used to clear the stagnation and bring relief, harmonize the flow of energy, and distribute excess energy to places where it is needed due to deficiencies, instead of concentrated in one channel or area.

Acupuncture acts as a natural analgesic and interrupts pain signaling, as well as helps with endorphin release. We aim to create acupuncture experiences that are as painless as possible by using Japanese acupuncture techniques to reduce pain.
